This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing modules.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit modules to customize them.
The left side has modules you can add!
Some modules you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some modules have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain modules can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

If this is heaven, then baby, I don't wanna know hell.
Hi - sorry it has taken so long to get back to you - I have just started a graphic design course and wanted to wait until I had time to take a proper look at your gallery.
First of all my learning curve really started when I got my first "proper" camera which was a bridge camera ( one that you could use manually aswell as point and shoot) which was a konica minolta dimage Z3. I began to use it and got frustrated quickly - so what did I do ? I challenged myself to emulate some of my favourite pictures on here using my manual settings. I quickly got to know about exposure lengths and aperture iso etc, and that then allowed me to develop my own style.
I see you are rather talented anyway and cant think of much to tell you to get a lot better - it just comes with experience. I have picked out two pictures that if taken that one step further would be even more stunning than they already are ( and they could be adjusted with a crop easily, so you dont have to retake them, just have a go and see if you think it improves them) okay here goes...
Stand alone - is a lovely piece but having a subject smack bang in the middle can detract from the overall composition. There are points in a picture called points of interest and you can find them easily. You basically divide your picture up into thirds horizontally and vertically so you will have nine equal rectangles - where each of these lines cross is a point of interest - if you place a subject on or very near the point - the composition becomes much more pleasing and easy on the eye. here is a link that might explain it better [link] so just by moving the seagul onto one of these points - it could make the picture better compositionally.
also Jump for joy - had you changed the angle a little and missed out the trampoline it would have made a funkier picture, but thats it really !!
Just experiment with different styles - and you will soon find your own because you will adapt things naturally to suit yourself. Dont be frightened of being inspired by photographers and having a go at their style - however DO be aware of that fine line between emulating and coppying. Copying is a no no! lol
Well I hope that helped - you are well on the way to being very good at what you do and have a natural eye for it - which is something that no amount of training can give you , keep up the good work xx
Anything I can help you with - let me know x Lisa
